Is it bad to use your birth control to skip you period ?

I know you are able to skip your period by starting your next birth control pack right away but is there any dangers or consequences in doing this ? Will it make my birth control less effective ?Is it bad to use your birth control to skip you period ?
No it will not be less effective it will just cause you to not ovulate and have less periods. You may spot or break through bleed until your system gets used it. Alot of doctors prescribe the pill that way (without the placebos) to their patients who have bad periods or diseases like endometriosis, adenomyosis, cysts, etc. It doesnt hurt or harm you at all. And you verify everything I am saying with you doctor if it makes you more comfortable and if your still not sure. Hope this helps! Is it bad to use your birth control to skip you period ?
Some people would argue that its a monthly cycle that is supposed to happen every month so it can't be healthy to skip it but my birth control makes it so that I only have a period every nine months or so. If it wasn't healthy they wouldn't make pills designed for you to only have four periods a year. its perfectly fine. The only thing you might notice is that your period may be a little bit brown, and there may be a few clots in it, but those are perfectly fine, some people clot every period. And no it does not make it less effective.
BC pills are prescribed by a doctor. They have a purpose and that is tp prevent pregnancy, you are thing about being irresponsible and endangering your health. take your medications according to your prescription, You need to protect your health
No except if you want to have a baby . Lol you know that .
