Where exactly do I go, besides the control panel to uninstall CA Etrust Antivirus 2005?

I have to uninstall CA Etrust Antivirus 2005 in order to install Norton Antivirus 2007 and Norton Firewall 2007 and the rest. It is not in my control panel. Where EXACTLY do I find these files to uninstall so I can be protected?Where exactly do I go, besides the control panel to uninstall CA Etrust Antivirus 2005?
CA antivirus is virtually impossible to remove, personally i have spent upwards of 5 hours trying to remove it. The only way i found of doing it was to download a program called avenger, which runs below Windows Xp etc. The only problem with this option is that you need technical knowledge to script the program and what files to remove. If you take the computer to a repair store, they should be able to remove it for you. Good luckWhere exactly do I go, besides the control panel to uninstall CA Etrust Antivirus 2005?
You can use ccleaner to remove it. Or you can go into start %26gt; programs %26gt; ca etrust folder. Often there is a file called unwise or uninstall which you can click on to uninstall the program.

Then as another suggested do a search for all files %26amp; delete them. You can also use ccleaner to remove the registry entries.
If you just open control panel, you wont see them you have to click and open uninstall programs in the control panel and then you choose the ones you want to uninstall.Thats where they are.
If your insistent on putting Norton bloatware on and wish to get rid of CA try start search and search all files and folders of all drives on the computer and delete those entries . Once those are gone then you can add the bloated software
