How long after you get the Birth control shot?

will you notice weight gain. I got the shot yeasterday but i don't plan on getting it again. I didn't know that it might cause weight gain. How long after the shot will you start weight gain if you are going to gain weight. Please note i run 4 miles seven days a week. This is the first time and only time i will get the shot. i didn't gain weight until being on the shot for 2 years, also the new depo is supposed to not have the weight gain effect as the old shot. i have not gained any weight since i got the new depo- on the old shot i gained 21 poundsHow long after you get the Birth control shot?
I think that if you run 4 miles every day that should take off what ever weight you gain very quickly. I think my step daughter didn't gain that much weight that I noticed. Ask your doctor what type of shot he/she gave you so you can find the side effects.
you will feel hungrier thats why u gain weight, just eat sensibly you will be fine
