What is a good way to remove/control Chlorine Gas from my small lab?

A vent hood is not a good method, does anyone know of a inexpensive way to trap/ remove the gas as it is being generated?I am not interested in any method that would result in release to the environment. What is a good way to remove/control Chlorine Gas from my small lab?
When I have done reactions that generate chlorine or use chlorine the simplest way, as kevinr said, is to place a tube from your reaction into a flask of H2O. This will act as a scrubber for Cl. Be careful not to suck H2O back up the tube and into the reaction. What is a good way to remove/control Chlorine Gas from my small lab?
Pump it into water
